Redstone Ruckus-1.49.4 (8 yr. Pacific Fella colt) Partnership #35

Joined our stable on March 3rd-2007-when we claimed him out of an open $30,000 claiming race at the Meadowlands. Been competing in $40,000 claimers, where he's been consistently finishing-2nd-3rd and 4th. Has just stepped up into the $50,000-$60,000 claiming class in late April and early May.

In his first start for our stable-on March 10th-Redstone Ruckus with Andy Miller-he swept the field from last-winning in 1.51.1 by 1 length. It was an impressive first race-we've followed that up with some decent races in this higher class and hope that he can continue to compete at the $35,000-$40,000 level for awhile

Redstone continued to race well in the $40,000 claimers and took his 2nd win for the partnership on April 21st with John Campbell in the bike-earning him a trip into the $50k claimers.

Has raced well-racing in the tough $50,000-$60,000 class at the Meadowlands for the last few months and now is racing in the high conditions at Chester Downs-where he just won with Tim Tetrick-going over the $100,000 earnings mark for 2007.

He's gotten the name Mr. ATM because of all the dividends that he's returned to the partners,

Redstone Ruckus got off to a good start in 2008-winning a NW$10,000 condition races-closing strongly. He's now racing in the tough $50-$60,000 claiming class and the high condition races.

Update-Redstone Ruckus just got claimed at Chester Downs on May 24th for $40,000-so we'll be looking for a replacement-or to try and claim him back for this partnership-which we did-and we immediately won with him back in the $40,000's-but after 3 races-he was claimed again-so this partnership is currently open.

DELRAY-1.50 (5 yr. Cambest colt)-Partnership #36

Joined our stable on June 16th 2006-when we claimed him out of an open $25,000 claiming race at the Meadowlands. Been competing in the 3 and 4 yr. old high level claimers, where he's been consistently finishing 1st-2nd-3rd and 4th. He's been forced to race against much older horses since they haven't been filling the 3 yr. old high claiming races. In 1st start for partnership, he finished a good 5th in a 1.51 mile with David Miller, going 1st over the whole mile.

In his 2nd start, Delray won wire-to-wire by 5 lengths at the Meadowlands, with Brian Sears in the bike in 1.50.4. He won again with Brian Sears and continues to be very competitive in the top 3 year old claiming class. .

Prepped for the 3 year old late closing stakes at the Meadowlands in November called The Oil Burner. Won a division of that series by 5 lengths with Brian Sears-but had no luck in the $56,000 Final.

Earned over $80,000 in 2006.

Has had a tough time early in 2007-since the Meadowlands has not carded many straight conditions or claiming classes for only 4 yr. olds-which they did in the past. However-Delray-with Yannick Gingras in the bike-set a new lifetime mark on March 31st-winning wire to wire in an impressive performance-in 1.50 flat.

Racing now in the tough NW4 or $125k life condition-Delray has been consistently knocking at the door-and again winning on April 21st-this time with Brian Sears back in the bike in 1.50.1.

After tying up and missing 3 months-Delray has come back strong-winning back to back races with Tim Tetrick at Chester Downs and then winning a gutsy race at Pocono Downs in the Red vs Yankee stakes series in 1.51.4 and then again at Chester Downs with Tim Tetrick. He's earned almost $80,000 again in 2007 and we're hoping for another good end to the year at the Meadowlands-maybe even reaching the $100,000 mark in earnings.

Delray is currently racing at Chester Downs-after competing at the Meadowlands-racing in the money 8 out of 10 times and winning 2 of his last 3 starts-including a 1.51.4 mile. He's earned over $50,000-was claimed once from us for $30,000-but we claimed him back and won a few starts-earning over $20,000 since the reclaim.

Delray was claimed from our partnership for the 2nd time on November 2nd for $30,000 and this time we decided that the time was right to move forward-thinking that Delray might have a tough time with his speed style at the Meadowlands meet which is about to open in Mid-November 2008

ORAGAMI ARTIST-1.50.2 (8 yr. Real Artist colt)-Partnership #34

Purchased from the Meadowlands mix sale in January of 2004, Oragami Artist has been a steady performer for our partnership for over 2+ years, mostly competing in the top condition classes at the Meadowlands. Earnings are now $300,000 lifetime. Took his record of 1.50.2 winning at the Meadowlands in July of 2007.

Was a Pa. Sire Stakes winner at both 2 & 3 and was on his way for a solid season in 2006-with earnings of almost $40k going into the winter racing season-coming off a few back to back wins at Pocono in September-but then tied up coming out of a race in November-ending his season.

Started 2007 on a good note-returning back at the Meadowlands and winning in 3rd start back-coming from way off the pace to win handliy for Brian Sears. Has been racing competively in the higher condition classes at both the Meadowlands and now Chester Downs-where he's won a few races with Tim Tetrick and has earned over $50,000 in 2007.

Oragami Artist is currently racing at Chester Downs and The Meadowlands in mid-to high level condition races-but is now on the sidelines with some minor health issues

Oragami Artist has been a consistent winner for our partnership for over 5 years

CARLSPUR-1.48 (12 yr. Carlsbad Cam colt)-Partnership #25

Owned since his early 3 yr. old year in 1999, Carlspur has won over $900,000 lifetime and was just featured in the February 2006 issue of Hoof Beats Magazine (click here) for his 1.48 record mile on Hambletonian Day-August 2005 at the Meadowlands. Now 12 yr. old, Carlspur was just recently retired at Freehold Raceway where he won 24 races lifetime and competed in their top Opens and Invites on Saturday afternoons.

He won 74 races lifetime and earned over $910,000 lifetime-doing it the hard way. He's made an amazing comeback from colic surgery on November 1st-2006 to return to the racetrack in June 2007. Carlspur won 3 back to back to back races at Freehold (1.55.3) and Monticello (1.54) & (1.53.4) and closed out his career late in 2007.

Named "Horse of The Year" at Monticello for 2006!!

His stakes wins include-The Harrington Pace Final, The Bert Beckwith Final, The Sports Net Final, The Sagamore Final and  2 eliminations of The Chill Factor.

He will now stand stud in Atlantic Canada-NB for a fee of $1,000

Boo Bugg-1.50 (4 yr. Grinfromeartoear) Partnership #37

Joined our stable on July 21st when the partnership claimed him out of the 4 yr. old $50,000 claiming class ($62,500) He won that night for the 2nd time in this class. We tried to claim him 2 weeks prior-but there were 3 claims on him and we lost that night. 2 weeks later-we were the only claim.

In his first start for the partnership in the same claiming class-Boo Bugg came off the pace with Brian Sears and closed strongly to win by 4 lengths in 1.50 flat. We lost him that night but picked up almost $15,000 in purse money. We tried to claim him back the following week-but were 1 of 9 claims that night.

Non Commital A-1.49.4 (7 yr. Peace of Art colt) Partnership #37

Joined our stable on May 19th when the partnership claimed him out of the $50,000-$60,000 claiming class from the Julie Miller barn. He was in for $60,000 that night and was roughed up in that mile-setting the pace with extremely fast fractions before fading late in the stretch.

In his first start for the partnership in the $75,000-$100,000 claiming class-Non Commital A came off the pace with Brian Sears and closed strongly to finish a good 3rd-beaten less than 2 lengths in 1.49.2-raced timed in 1.49.4-last quarter in 27 seconds. We're hopeful for good things with Non Commital A.

Austin's Best-1.50.4 (5 yr. Cambest colt) Partnership #37

Joined our stable on March17th-when we claimed him out of a $50,000-$60,000 claiming race at the Meadowlands. Been competing in the 4 yr. old high level claimers and conditions, where he's been consistently finishing in the money and earned over $125,000 in 2006.

He finished a game 2nd and 4th in his first two starts for this new partnership and we expect to continue racing in this high level claiming class for awhile.

Austin's Best was claimed on April 21st for $55,000-ending his run with us for Partnership #37. He did earn over $11,000 during the 4-5 weeks that we owned him helping us to get off to a good start with our new partnership.
